The metals are typically used to manufacture parts which are used on any type of aircraft. Metals Unlimited North does 90% of its business in the aerospace and aircraft industry. Formed much like sheet, flat forms are typically horizontally surfaced and meant to speed processing and handling for applications that require wide, rectangular surface area. 

Like flats and plates, sheet is meant to provide wide surface area for shielding, finishing and stability.  Varying degrees of thicknesses affect the flexibility of processing.
